Both
the Taurus and Casino porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum deposits have similar host
rocks, mineralization/alteration styles, and intact, un-glaciated supergene enrichment zones.
Access can be via Chicken
(helicopter base), Tok (fixed wing aircraft to either of two airstrips
on the Taurus), or road.

Skid road from the Taylor Highway (Mile 9)
The Taurus remains relatively un-explored even though
previous work has resulted in significant intercepts of copper, gold
(not analyzed until after 1978) and molybdenum in drilling.
